But if you want your own name, you must reserve it, making sure it hasn't been already taken by somebody else. To check if the name you want to use is still available, put it in the text box field below (without any www. or anything like that) and hit the "Search" button. This form uses InterNIC's "whois" database and only has "second level" domain information, the first level or "top domain" names can be com, org, net or several others, less often use by the public.
